Lakeland police have canceled a Silver Alert that was issued this morning for Sherri Carpenter, 56, saying she has been located and is being reunited with her family.

Lakeland police are asking for help finding Sherri Carpenter, 56, who has been diagnosed with early-onset dementia. She was last seen Monday afternoon leaving Glengreen Lane in Lakeland driving a red 2014 Nissan Sentra with Florida tag NTC S32.

She was wearing blue jeans, a navy shirt, and dark-colored closed-toe shoes, and police believe she was heading to a residence in Bartow.

Carpenter is described as having blond hair and blue eyes, 5’3” tall and weighing around 150 pounds.

Anyone with information on her location is asked to call 911 or LPD at 863-834-6966.
