Milton recovery; health care & aging

Trinity Laurino

Executive Director

One week out from Milton and collectively we’re still assessing damages and picking up the pieces. I think our team at LkldNow showed incredible resiliency and ingenuity in how our tiny newsroom delivered so much news throughout the storm and we will continue to cover the effects and recovery here in Lakeland.

Like so many of you, we’re also working to return to our more normal schedules. Our Candid Conversation on Health care and Aging  is going forward as planned for Oct. 26 at noon at First Presbyterian Church. This event will feature Jody Streussnig, senior manager of programs for the Alzheimer’s Association Florida Gulf Coast and we will be providing a boxed lunch to all registrants.
