Marcia Patricia Williams was born on Thursday April 22, 1971 at the Jubilee Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica, to parents Leaha Smith and Vessel Smith.
Her early childhood years were spent in Trinity Ville, St Thomas. She received her early education in the Trinity Ville, Primary School graduating from Trinity Ville Secondary school St. Thomas, Jamaica.
Marcia met and fell in love with Deacon Anthony E. Williams in 1990, producing two beautiful children, Shannalee and Alicia Williams. She later went on to marry the love of her life on August 6, 2005.
Sadly, in 2003 Marcia was diagnose with breast cancer and had to remove her right breast; she thought her fight was over but sadly it had just begun. In 2012, after she migrated to the United states, she discovered that the cancer was still in her body and had migrated to other areas of the body. This time the doctors did not expect her to live and she was placed in a wheelchair unable to walk or stand.
In 2013, having been nurtured in the Christian faith, Marcia, accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized and became a member in the PCMC in WH and later at the Revealing Word Pentecostal Ministry. Marcia’s believed in God’s healing power that touched her in a miraculous way and a year later she was out of the wheelchair and was able to walk again. She was a wonder to the doctors.
In 2018 she was diagnosed with cancer of the brain and once again she was a wonder to her doctors, who stated that she is a strong woman of faith and that they have never seen anyone with such a fight in them. However, Marcia entered into eternal rest on Friday August 21, 2020 at the Good Shepherd Hospice, Auburndale, FL.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Emmanuel Williams, two daughters Shannalee Graham, Alicia Williams; Stepson Kwami Williams; two grandchildren; Kaden Graham and Aaliyah Colquhoune; father Vessel Smith; two brothers, Nieces and
Nephews.
Condolences may be sent to the family at Oldham Funeral Home.
