Bonnet Springs Park has been named “Best City Park of 2025” according to an announcement Wednesday.

The top ranking is the result of a recent reader poll conducted by the news organization USA Today.

“It’s a joyful milestone for a park that’s only been open for two years,” the park said in a press release.

USA Today, in its announcement Wednesday, said, “This 168-acre urban oasis and former railyard has been transformed into a stunning park full of natural beauty, complete with winding trails that showcase native plants and a magnificent 200-year-old Grandfather Oak.”

“This recognition means so much to us,” said Bonnet Springs CEO Josh Henderson in the park’s press release.

“From the very beginning, we set out to create a place that brings people together and reflects the heart of our community. It’s a testament to the people who dreamed it, donated to it, and continue to support it every day. We have the best guests, and they have called us the best park.”
