Florida Southern College’s Mocs claimed a 12-5 victory over Pace University in Rochester, New York, on Thursday, May 21, in the Division II women’s lacrosse national championship semifinals and will move on to the championship game Saturday, May 23.
After scoring three goals in the opening 30 minutes, the Moccasins’ offense exploded for nine goals in the second half to pull away from the Setters.
This marks the women’s lacrosse team’s first championship game appearance since 2018. The game will take place Saturday, May 23, at 5 p.m. with the Mocs facing the winner of the East Stroudsburg University-Maryville University semifinal.
