City proclamation: Alyssia Totten Day May 16, 2016 |

In today’s Monday Profile, City Manager Tony Delgado calls Alyssia Totten a “dynamo” who gets people “excited and invigorated” about projects, such as benefit concerts she has coordinated for the Rotary Clubs of Lakeland to build a playground at Lake Parker Park. Fact check: Unless there’s something Alyssia hasn’t told the rest of us, the Mamas and Papas and Beach Boys will not be playing this year’s concert (info), although Wilson Phillips, Sister Hazel and Jessie James Decker will.
