City Wins Redevelopment Award for Tax Collector’s Office

The city of Lakeland’s role in transforming an abandoned Publix store into a modern customer service center for the Polk County Tax Collector won a statewide award. The Lakeland Community Redevelopment Agency received the Roy F. Kenzie Award for an outstanding rehabilitation, renovation or reuse project from the Florida Redevelopment Association. The video was part of city’s entry.
