Stryker, a company that manufactures medical devices, is closing its Lakeland facility near the I-4/County Line Road interchange and is eliminating more than 500 positions by the end of 2023, Fox 13 News reports.

At least the company gave lots of warning to those employees who needed to find another job. When I was one
of 40 employees layed off from there in 2004, we were notified and then given 30 minutes to clear out. Seems like they have improved…
