The Kmart at 4717 S. Florida Ave. was on a list released today of 43 Sears and Kmart stores slated to close by October. The troubled chain has announced several rounds of closings this year totaling more than 300 stores. A manager at the Lakeland store told The Ledger he wasn’t authorized to answer questions such as how many people work there.
