More than 4,000 people gathered peacefully in Freedom Park and along South Florida Avenue on Saturday, March 28, as part of a “No Kings” protest.

The event, organized by Indivisible Polk, included speakers and a march on to Lemon Street and back to the park.

Protesters waved signs and chanted as cars passed by.

The Lakeland Police Department confirmed that there were no incidents or arrests related to the event.
