Singer-songwriter Michael McArthur talks about his two recent EPs and his hometown of Lakeland in an interview with Cowboys & Indians, which bills itself as “the premiere magazine of the West.” Every time he’s considered moving to a music town, he says, he remembers, “Don’t let anyone tell you that you have to move to make it. Be where you want to be.” Asked what visitors should experience in Lakeland, he names three things: his wife’s bakery, the coffee his brother roasts and Circle B Bar Reserve.
