It’s a fine time in Lakeland for diverse musical experiences. Coming up: intricate acoustic guitar interplay, Sunday afternoon punk rock, a four-handed approach to piano classics, and a new jazz series. Keep scrolling for more info and these and our updated live music calendar:

GUITARS: Nicola Ciprani from Verona, Italy, and Brad Myrick, from Concord, N.H., met a decade ago and bonded over acoustic guitar duets. They’re touring “Wanderlust,” their first full CD, and perform at Florida Southern College’s Danforth Chapel Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are free; donations are encouraged.

PUNK: Sunday afternoons at Swan Brewing conjure thoughts of laid-back sounds. Not this week. The brewery on Lake Wire hosts the second Punk Rock Flea Market from noon to 6, and a host of bands provide the soundtrack. They include The Paperback Whale, Butch Queen & The Bad Habits, All Ages, Judi & The Outsiders, The Damnsels, and Pangolin. Proceeds benefit Red Tent Initiative and Art Crawl Inc.

PIANO: If you’re looking for a little less volume Sunday afternoon, check out Duo Beaux Arts, the husband-and-wife duet of Tao Lin and Catherine Lan sharing one piano. They perform at the Lakeland Public Library at 2 p.m.

JAZZ: Union Hall has launched a Tuesday evening jazz series. Swan City Jazz Project kicked it off this week; they’ll be playing again next week and then every other Tuesday at 6, with other jazz artists playing on the intervening weeks.
