Steve-O wins $1 million for charity

Stephen “Steve-O” Glover won $1 million for Doctors Without Borders after outlasting 29 other celebrities in a high-stakes competition hosted by MrBeast, whose YouTube channel has 459 million subscribers.

The Jackass star was the last contestant standing in an over-the-top competition that put celebrities through a series of mental and physical challenges. The video was posted on Jan. 7 and quickly drew millions of views.

As the winner, Steve-O earned the right to direct the $1 million prize to a nonprofit of his choice. Steve-O chose Doctors Without Borders, which provides emergency medical care to people affected by conflict, disease and natural disasters around the world.

Steve-O has Lakeland ties. His sister, Cindy Glover, is a reporter for LkldNow. The stuntman and comedian headlined LkldNow’s first Candid Conversation fundraiser in December 2023.
