The Lakeland Downtown Development Authority (LDDA) has announced that “Tasty Tuesday is taking a little summer vacation” from June through August.
The event will resume in September 2026.
The LDDA shared details in statement:
After an incredible season filled with amazing food, packed sidewalks, happy customers, and enough desserts to medically concern several cardiologists, Tasty Tuesday will be taking a short break for the summer.
But don’t worry… this isn’t goodbye. It’s a glow-up.
To everyone who joined us this season, thank you for supporting our local restaurants, businesses, and downtown community. Every ticket purchased, every stop visited, and every “just one more dessert” decision helped make this event a success.
We can’t wait to show you what’s cooking for the next season.
