Kimberly Houtz, 54, (Facebook) emerged from the water in distress within five minutes after starting a dive off St. Pete Beach on Saturday morning, witnesses said. She was attended to by the crew of an Eckerd College rescue boat and paramedics, but died at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Hospital that afternoon.
