  • After 15 months of falling fuel rates on electric bills, city commissioners decided to keep rates flat in October.
  • They won’t be able to take a formal vote until they hold a public hearing, but city commissioners indicated Tuesday they plan to endorse Polk County’s ballot initiative to continue the half-cent sales tax supporting indigent health care.
