Sheriff Grady Judd today announced the arrest of a Polk deputy on allegations that he made threatening comments in writing in reaction to the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Judd said Deputy Peter Heneen’s “hate talk” crossed into illegal threats of violence, News Channel 8 reported. Heneen has been suspended from his job, and Judd said he will be terminated.
