Jean Lynn Eiland Brown, 65

Mrs. Jean Lynn Eiland Brown was born in Lakeland, FL on June 5, 1956. She passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on July 26, 2021 in Lakeland.

She was a life long resident of Lakeland and was a graduate of Kathleen High School. Following graduation, she completed nursing school to earn her License in Practical Nursing. She had a successful 43 year nursing career at Watson Clinic and served as the church pianist for 25 years at Crestview Baptist Church. Jean was a loving wife, sister, mother, aunt, friend, and coworker. Jean was a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by Grandparents – Alton and Lora Allen, Parents – Doyle and Betty Lou Allred. Jean is survived by her husband Rodney Brown, daughter Stephanie (Dillon) Millsap, sister Jane (Mark) Warren, brother Alton Allred, sister Nancy (Ken Darby) Bissel, brother William Allred (daughter Courtney Lipham), nephew Charles (Sonja) Warren, niece Sarah (Andrew) Miller, niece Clarice (Jordan) Hartsfield, niece Kayla (Michael) Helm.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 6, 2021 at Crestview Baptist Church. Visitation with family will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., and the memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. at 615 Old Polk City Rd, Lakeland, FL 33809.
