In the Dr. Scissorshands pumpkin-carving exhibition at the downtown Lakeland curb market on Saturday, local surgeons and physicians displayed their artistic skills using medical and other tools. The resulting jack-o’-lanterns were auctioned, with proceeds benefiting Arms for Asher, which helps a local Spinal Muscular Atrophy patient.
