Registered voters in Lakeland go to the polls today to decide between Michael Dunn and Larry Durrence for a City Commission seat. Polls close at 7 p.m. Read on to find out where to vote, how to do last-minute research and where to get results tonight.

BALLOT: Here’s a sample ballot. It includes one race:

City Commission Southwest District – Dunn and Durrence face each other in a runoff election today because neither received more than 50 percent of the vote in a four-way contest in the Nov. 7 city election. While this seat represent a geographic district (see a district map), candidates are elected in city-wide races.
