A new court document opens the door for Bryan Riley of Brandon, the Marine marksman who was charged in the murders of four north Lakeland family members last September, to use an insanity defense. His attorney filed an intent to rely on a defense of insanity document that says Riley suffered from a “mental infirmity, disease or defect,” but the specific condition was redacted, News Channel 8 reported.
