The State Attorney’s Office has dropped all criminal charges in the cases of Courtney Taylor Irby and Joseph Irby, which gained national prominence after Courtney Irby was arrested while turning in guns she said she took from her estranged husband for self-protection. The Irbys have agreed to participate in a pretrial intervention program. New evidence suggested Courtney Irby illegally placed tracking devices in her husband’s vehicle and that cellphone tracking data contradicted several of her statements, prosecutors said. Divorce and injunction legal proceedings are pending.
