city hall 1913

The building pictured here was constructed at the corner of Main Street and Florida Avenue in Lakeland, Florida in 1913 to serve as the city’s seat of government, City Hall. It served in that capacity until 1927 when the current City Hall opened on Massachusetts Avenue. The old city hall was sold and continues to house a variety of businesses and offices.
