Representatives of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and other veterans organizations will be available to help connect military veterans with services at a “Vet Fest” Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Joker Marchant Stadium.
Admission and parking are free for the event, titled “Vet Fest: Connecting Central Florida Veterans to the VA Benefits They’ve Earned.”
Medical representatives from James A. Haley V.A. Hospital in Tampa will provide toxic exposure screenings, women’s health services and mental health support. In addition, veterans can get help with health-care enrollment, employment assistance, housing counseling and transportation services.
No advance registration or sign-up is required. Joker Marchant Stadium is at 2301 Lakeland Hills Blvd.
