Polk County Burger Week runs Friday, July 17, through Sunday, July 26. Over 65 restaurants will offer burger-week-only specials, with menu items ranging from classic cheeseburgers to inventive gourmet creations.
A full map of participating restaurants is available online. After sampling specials, customers are invited to return to the website and vote for their favorites.
More than 25 Lakeland restaurants will be offering specials, including:
- Cafe 51 Lakeland: The Taste of St. Louis – 8 oz. burger with mozzarella, toasted ravioli, housemade Segreto cheese, and marinara on a toasted potato bun for $19.95 OR The Segreto King Smash – two 4 oz. Angus smash patties with housemade Segreto cheese, grilled onions, and bacon on a toasted potato bun for $16.95
- Cob & Pen: Mole Chile Relleno Burger – mole spiced beef patty, pineapple jam, and crispy chile relleno
- The Chop Shop: Southwest Chili Crisp Burger – half pound angus beef, pepper jack cheese, chili crisp, avocado, charred jalapeños, garlic creme, and tortilla strips on a brioche bun
- The Depot at Bonnet Springs Park: Buffalo Burger – burger with Buffalo sauce, crumbled blue cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion ring
- Garden Bistro: Bacon Chopped Cheese – chopped cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, bacon, and house sauce on toasted hoagie
- Grievous Angel: Fleetwood Burger – two smash patties, American cheese, jalapeño cream cheese, pecan-smoked bacon, fresh jalapeños, fried pickle straws, and rancho sauce for $12
- JJ’s Fusion Khaana at CoHatch on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday: Desi Masala Burger Combo – quarter pound spiced beef, grilled saffron chicken, or breaded Indian-spiced tofu patty on a brioche bun with cheese, JJ’s signature sauces, dry slaw, onions, tomatoes, and cucumber pickles, served with Masala Fries, Indian ketchup, and garlic-mayo for $16
- The Juice Box: Boot Scootin’ Barbecue Burger – BBQ glazed Beyond patty with homemade slaw and house pickled jalapeños, served with chips OR Black & Bleu Burger – Cajun seasoned Beyond patty with lettuce, tomato, red onion, bleu cheese crumbles and vegan mayo, served with chips OR Buddha Burger – Beyond patty topped with tu-no salad, carrots, sweet potato, and green onion
- Las Rosas Colombian Cuisine & Catering at Catapult on Thursday: Gourmet Colombian Hamburger – Quarter pound grass-fed beef burger, grilled with wagyu tallow, with fig preserves, homemade ketchup, Kewpie mayo, dijon mustard, hand cut crispy shoestring potatoes and beef bacon, served with fried baby potatoes
- LoveBird Almost Famous Chicken: It’s Not A Wrap – crispy chicken, Caesar-dressed chopped romaine, lemon herb aioli, Parmesan, and Mozzarella on a challah bun
- Mitchell’s Coffee House: Two slow-smoked brisket sliders on toasted brioche buns, with Kansas City BBQ sauce and bacon-habanero jam, served with kettle chips and a soft drink for $12.99
- Nineteen61: Cowboy Burger – 6 oz. chargrilled chuck and short rib patty with Tillamook smoked cheddar, tobacco onions, chipotle ketchup, and arugula on a brioche bun, served with a side for $24
- Palace Pizza Downtown: Burger Pizza – ground beef, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and ranch dressing with mozzarella sauce, single slice for $4.95 or whole pie for $32.95
- The Peach House: Peaches & Brie – two smash patties, melted brie, peach chutney, bacon, arugula, and citrus herb aioli
- S&L Restaurant: The Dirty Burger – smashed patty with onion strings, provolone cheese, and hot honey for $12
- Smith’s American Tavern: Napa Maple Bacon Crust Burger – 4 oz. filet mignon and shoulder blend double patty, with white sharp cheddar cheese, applewood bacon, onion iceberg-pickle slaw, herb aioli, lacquered Napa maple glaze, and bacon crust
- Sora Eatery: The Mac Daddy Burger – Fried mac and cheese bun with two smashed patties, melted American cheese, lettuce, and tomato, served with cheese sauce for $18
- Super Duper Spot: French Toast Felony – beef and chorizo smash patties with chipotle maple, bacon crackle, a runny fried egg, and queso fresco on brioche French toast
- Terrace Grille Lakeland: Southern Smoke Burger – 7 oz. short rib and brisket blend burger with smoked pimento cheese, house bacon jam, fermented jalapeños, and crispy fried shallots, served with fries for $18
