BROADBAND: A University of Pennsylvania professor who has studied municipal broadband says Lakeland city commissioners should ask tough, skeptical questions before deciding whether to launch a utility.
LINKS:  Dr. Christopher Yoo’s study finds that most municipal broadband systems fail to make money, but the study has received ample criticism from organizations such as the Brookings Institution.
