On Sunday, January 3, 2021, Michael (Mike) Robles, loving husband, son, brother and father passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones at the age of 59. Mike was born to Robert Robles, an Air Force Veteran and his mother, Carolee on February 17, 1961 in Rome, New York. He married the love of his life, Wendy, on November 6, 2018 after a long, loving courtship.

Of the many jobs Mike held throughout his life, his greatest achievement and greatest source of pride for his family was getting his degree as a Radiology Technician. After receiving his degree Mike went to work at Central Florida Regional Hospital, Sanford, Florida from April 2005 – December 2018. During his tenure at the hospital he received many accolades as a technician and trainer in his field.

Mike had a passion for music, playing the drums, writing poetry and nature. He particularly loved the music of Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin and Elton John. He owned every album Aerosmith ever made and one of his favorite songs of all time was Dream On.

Mike was especially loved for his genius humor that was sure to bring everyone he met to tears of laughter. He was incredibly loyal and a fierce protector of his family and friends. There was never a moment where he wasn’t cracking a joke or laughing about something.

Mike was preceded in death by his father and hero, Bob Robles. He is survived by his loving mother, Carolee and stepfather, Jim Papa, his wife, Wendy, his children, Clinton and Erika, his sisters, Lynn, Laura and Denise, his Aunt Diane, cousins Tom and Cheryl, 10 nieces, 5 nephews and stepbrothers, Scott and Jimmy.

A graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Burial Park at 4620 US HWY 98 South, Lakeland, Florida 33812 at 1 P.M. on Thursday, January 7, 2021.

Condolences may be sent to the family at Central Florida Funeral Chapel
