Mallory Joy Bärsch-White, 27, passed away on January 28, 2021. She was born in Lakeland, FL on January 8, 1994 to Paul and Melinda White.

Mallory attended Lakeland Christian School all 12 years where she starred in multiple sports. Mallory’s athletic success began at age 8 when she broke the National record in the high jump in her first AAU National Championship. She continued to set National records in the High Jump, 800m, 1500m, 1500m Race Walk, along with Triathlon and Heptathlon records. Mallory also competed in the HS State Championships in Cross Country and Track for 6 years, earning 11 State Medals. She was recognized as the Polk County CC and Track “Runner of the Year” multiple times. She was also recognized with “All County” honors in Soccer and helped LCS to the State Semi-finals for many years.

Upon graduation, she then attended Polk State College on a scholarship with the women’s soccer team, traveling throughout the state of Florida to compete. Continuing her education at the University of South Florida in Tampa, she threw the Javelin on the USF track team, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Studies. While at USF, Mallory joined the Gamma Phi Beta sorority, greatly enjoying her new sister family and charity projects.

Following college graduation, Mallory moved to Frankfurt Germany and embraced the land and people as her own. In May 2018 she married the love of her life, a German, Max Bärsch and they began to build a life together in Germany. Mallory loved the Lord Jesus Christ deeply and served him wherever she could, engaging in youth ministry activities, mission trips, dance worship teams, and volunteering in her church, where she also expressed her love to the Lord in singing on the church praise & worship team.

Mallory freely gave her heart to anyone who was in need of love and encouragement. Her smile was a gift to all, and will always be remembered and treasured by all who knew her. Mallory currently was a member of Grace City Church in Lakeland, Fl.

Mallory was preceded in death by her brother, Ethan Paul White; maternal grandparents, Gene and Joyce L. Allen; and paternal grandmother, Mary White. She is survived by her husband, Max Bärsch; parents, Paul & Melinda White; siblings, Candice (Tyler) McMahan, Cameron Honeycutt and David (Kristi) Stokes; paternal grandfather, Bob White; nieces & nephews, Bryce, Brynlee, Bryant and Breelyn; along with her numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
