Lynn Celia Hirsch passed away peacefully on August 18th with her family around her. She was born December 4th, 1943 in Goshen, NY. Predeceased in death by her parents Seeley and Margaret Pellew, brother David Pellew and sister Meg Radcliff. Survived by her sister Mona Lynch and many cousins in NY.

While she fought her battle it was time for her to rest with God. We take comfort in knowing she’s at peace with her parents, brother and sister in heaven.

Survived by her husband, Ellis M. Hirsch of 50 years. Also survived by her sons Michael Faas and wife Renae, Thomas Faas and wife Kiana, Dennis Faas, Laurie Frean and Jennifer Riffle. Survived by 6 Grandchildren: Taylor, Charli, Ryan, Brianne, Joey & Jared along with 2 great grandchildren Noah and Blake.

She was co-owner of Gift Crafts in Lakeland for 10 years, on the board for Girls Inc, she was a past president of PAL and volunteered for Viste. She worked at Lakeland Comfort Shoes for 25 years before retiring to spend time with her family.

“Gee” was the rock of our family in so many ways and will be missed greatly by all that she touched. She was a “mother” to so many in our extended family and in the community. Her heart was always open and the family dinners at her house she always made special for everyone that came.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 7th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lone Palm Golf Club. Condolences may be sent to the family at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes.
