Known to family as Keith, known to friends as Red, William Keith Wofford was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. Graduated from Lakeland High School, he continued his education at Tampa Technical Institute in drafting. But Keith has never been one to sit behind a desk. He would much rather be outdoors, going and doing and working with his hands. He was good at whatever he set his mind to, whether it was working in the electrical trade, doing maintenance at an aluminum extrusion plant, or manufacturing motorcycle windshields. He was a tinkerer and capable of many talents such as carpentry, creating wooden landscapes, mechanic work, racing go-karts, welding, and building his own rail buggy from scratch.
Keith was never a showman, a bit scruffy some would say. But for those who got to know his heart, they knew him as a good man and a loyal friend. Keith will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
William Keith Wofford is pre-deceased by his father, Billy B. Wofford, and survived by Juanita Wimberley Wofford mother, Susan Key (Steve) sister, Anita Fluman (Rick) sister, Josh Fluman nephew, Sarah Cline (Aaron) niece, Johnathon Reiners grand-nephew, and Evie Reiners grand-niece.
Condolences may be sent to the family at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes.
