It’s important to remember the life of Van Lawrence Davis. Born in Plant City, Florida, on November 9, 1955, Van faced both joyful and challenging moments throughout his journey.
He was born into a family of four sons, and together with his brother Victor, they experienced the loss of their father and brothers and mother. Raised by his strong and devoted mother, Zelma, Van was shaped by her unwavering love, strength, faith, and discipline.
Van’s life included various relationships and experiences, including multiple marriages, divorces, and the joy of children. After finding enduring love with his final wife, Dekeshia Lynette Dorsey, they embraced their blended family and beloved pets.
His love story with Dekeshia began in a unique way and led to a life together centered on faith and love. Despite personal struggles, Van found strength and healing through the support of family, medical care, and the unwavering love of his wife.
