Robert Faust Lansford, 88

Robert Faust Lansford, aged 88, passed away on September 15, 2024, in Winter Haven, Florida. Born on April 8, 1936, in Columbus, Georgia, Robert graduated from Hillsborough High School in Tampa and continued his education at Georgia Tech earning a degree in Civil Engineering.

Robert served in the Air Force for six years followed by a long career in civil engineering at Davy Mckee where he led the computer graphics department. Robert moved on to own and run R & R Sports, a local sports store, where he was able to share his love of all sports. In retirement, Robert continued working in the engineering field with the Small Business Association through FEMA and published three novels.

Robert is survived by his loving partner, Linda Elliott; his daughter, Laura Chancey; son, Frank Lansford; and grandchildren, Madison, Julia, and Thomas Chancey. His legacy is carried on through his family, who remember him as a dedicated partner, father, and grandfather, as well as through the many lives he touched throughout his career and service.
