Richard Hargrove, 69

Richard Lee Hargrove, 69, went home to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior, August 25, 2026. Richard was born in Danville, Kentucky on August 29, 1956 and moved to Lakeland at a young age. He lived in Lakeland for over 50 years where he had many family members and friends. He passed peacefully surrounded by his family at home in Orlando, Florida.

Richard is survived by his wife, Barbara Hargrove of 44 years, his two daughters, Brittany Cranor (Josh), and Lauren Hargrove. His 5 Grandchildren, Madison Grace, Jake Timothy, Katelyn Elizabeth, Elijah Matthew, and Emily Joy. Richard is also survived by his sisters, Janice Bradway (Charlie), and C-Ann Wolfe (David) and multiple nieces and nephews.

Richard loved spending time with his family, going to the beach, landscaping his and others’ yards, shopping for antiques, and riding around in his convertible. He also loved playing with Bluey, their dog.
