Ramesh C Patel, 95

Rameshbhai Chunibhai Patel, 95, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 70 years, Vimlaben Rameshbhai Patel; daughters Yamini Patel Guilford (Fred Guilford) and Parul Rameshbhai Patel (Wayne Burnett); sons Nikesh Rameshbhai Patel (Karen Patel) and Nimesh Rameshbhai Patel (Jennifer Patel); six grandchildren; and two great‑grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Bella Yogeshbhai Patel (Yogesh Patel).

Mr. Patel was a highly respected structural and civil engineer who practiced in Lakeland, Florida, beginning in 1973. He was also a lifelong yoga enthusiast, faithfully maintaining his daily practice at home and during his travels. Above all, he found his greatest joy in his family, whose lives continue to reflect his love, integrity, and spirited outlook.

He will be remembered as a man of honor, humility, and service, whose legacy endures in the family he cherished, the profession he strengthened, and the many lives he quietly influenced.
