Marion Rahmel, 99

Marion Rahmel of Lakeland, Florida died March 21, 2024, at Florida Presbyterian Homes. She was 99 years old.

Born in Holgate, Ohio, on November 28, 1924, and came to Florida from Toledo, Ohio in 1959. She taught school at Grace Lutheran School in Saint Petersburg, Florida and Pinellas County Florida School System in Largo, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman D. Rahmel and is survived by her son, Mark D. Rahmel (Virginia) and daughter, Ann R. Snavely (Charles), four grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lakeland, Florida. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Marion’s memory be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 4450 Harden Blvd, Lakeland, Florida 33813.
