Linda Marie Hess, 78 of Lakeland passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
She was born on October 31, 1945, in Allentown Pennsylvania to the late John W. Huebner & Madeline P. Bergstresser.
Linda was a registered nurse for over 37 years also known as a Nightingale Angel at the Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
She was a Mary Kay Representative, avid fan who loved the New York Yankee’s and enjoyed quilting.
Linda is survived by her husband of 56 years, Edward George Hess; 2 children, Edward A. Hess (Kristin), Jennifer Dilliard (Jason); granddaughter, Madelynn; brother, John W. Huebner.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 9 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 4450 Harden Boulevard, Lakeland, Florida 33813, with services to follow at 10:00 am.
Interment Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
