Linda Howell Kersey, 77

Mrs. Linda Howell Kersey, age 77, a resident of Lakeland, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2026. Linda was born on June 4, 1949 to Norman “Gordon” and Nellie Mae (Tanner) Howell of Bartow, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers – Jimmy Howell, Johnnie Howell and Robert Howell. Linda is survived by her loving family, husband of 53 years – James (Jim) Edward Kersey Jr.; daughter – Shannon Lynn Rogalski and husband Kevin; daughter – Michelle Kersey Gould and husband Mike; daughter – Lisa Dawn Passero; 6 grandchildren and other extended family members. Linda was loved by all who knew her and will be missed forever.

Funeral services will be held 10am Monday, September 14th at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home – Southside Chapel. Visitation will be held before services at 9am. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
