James Harold “Cowboy” Weathers. 11/21/56 – 7/2/24. Harold “Cowboy” Weathers was born in Statesboro, GA and lived most of his life in Lakeland.

He was an “artist” as a welder/fitter in the metal fabrication industry.

He loved to fish and rifle shooting – especially at very small targets. He had enjoyed several years of retirement spending time with friends, family and his little buddy Tater (cat). He was known for his big heart and helping hands! You had a friend if Cowboy was your friend!

Cowboy is preceded in death by his parents, Donald J. and Mattie Mae Weathers-Webster; oldest brother, Donald Ray Weathers. He is survived by brothers, Joseph “Wimpy” (Sheila) Weathers, William (Beverly) Weathers and John (Shawna) Webster; sister, Barbara (Alan) Watts.

A celebration of life gathering for family and friends will be held in the near future.
