Helen Hooks Gohari, 67

Helen Hooks Gohari, 67, passed away January 31, 2024. Helen was born in Lake Wales, FL, on April 4, 1956, the daughter of Mary and Homer Hooks.

She moved with her family to Lakeland at a very early age. Upon graduating from The Madeira School in McLean, VA, she moved to Tampa where she resided for the rest of her life. She was predeceased by both her parents.

She is survived by her brothers Hollis Hooks, Lakeland, and David Hooks, Clearwater Beach, her neice, Emily Hooks, Lakeland, and nephews Ryan Hooks, Smyrna, GA, and Hamilton Hooks, Lakeland.

She is also survived by four great nieces and one great nephew. There will be a private memorial service for Helen at a later date.
