Florence G. Wilt, 108

Florence G. Wilt, 108, of Lakeland, passed away October 3rd, 2023. Mrs. Wilt was born in Plant City, FL on August 16th, 1915. She was a charter member of First Baptist Church, Lakeland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Wilt; and daughter, Jane Johnson. She is survived by her sons, Hank (Shirley) Wilt and James (Carolyn) Wilt, Jr.; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Friday, October 6th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. at Oak Hill Burial Park, with Pastor Danny Applewhite officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Billy Graham Association.
