David Leigh Kimbrough, 48

David Leigh Kimbrough, age 48, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023. David was born in Sarasota on December 1, 1974, to the late Leigh Kimbrough and Mary Kimbrough. He grew up in Lakeland and graduated from Lake Gibson High School.

David was a man of many talents, with a generous soul. There was nothing he couldn’t do. He was always willing to help his friends no matter what they needed. He loved spending time with his friends and family making memories. Everyone who knew David knew how special he was.

David was an avid cruiser and enjoyed traveling with his wife, family, and friends. He had a passion for cooking and teaching BBQ, which he shared with his daughter. He also enjoyed spoiling his three boxer pups.

David is survived by his wife, Stephanie Kimbrough, daughter, Lydia Kimbrough, mother, Mary Kimbrough, and sister, Tracy Kimbrough, as well as extended family and many close friends who were like family to him. He will forever be in our hearts and sorely missed every day.
