Armentra McCray McMillon, 87

Mother Armentra McCray McMillon was born in Headland, Alabama to the late Elijah McCray, Sr, and Dovie Lynn. She is the oldest daughter in a family of 12 children. Armentra moved to Lakeland from Gretna, Florida almost 70 years ago.

She retired from the Polk School District after more than 25 years of service. She was employed by Citrus Connection and retired after 15 years. Mother McMillon loved the Lord and was involved in various church organizations and served as a funeral service attendant with the H. W. Oldham Funeral Home. She leaves to cherish her memories of five children, five siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many relatives and sorrowing friends. The repass after the celebration will be held at 3005 Cobbler Square Lane Lakeland and the burial will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
