Lexi Logan Bell, 34, of Lakeland, passed away at home with family from congestive heart failure May 29, 2022, after an extended hospital stay.

Although the youngest sibling, she was enthusiastically competitive with her brothers, Josh Thompson, and Dane Bell, whether it was a game of Scrabble after Christmas Dinner or who could get the most air in a Bouncey House during her nephew’s birthday party.

She inherited her mother’s (Liz) artistic flair and eye.

She shared with her father (Bucky) magical moments jet skiing with jumping dolphins, anything outdoors, or simply the mundane grocery shopping.

She had an encyclopedic knowledge of movie trivia and was a prolific texter with friends and family.

Lexi and her grandmother (Mary Ellen Bell) spent many joyous moments enjoying their dachshunds.

She was an absolute animal lover. She adopted animals of all sorts and bestowed heaps of love on them, dachshunds, a bulldog, ferret, cat.

She is survived by her mother Elizabeth McCormick Bell (Michael), her father CW Bucky Bell (Beth), her brothers Joshua Thompson and Dane Bell, her nephews Cameron Bell and Cole Bell, her paternal grandmother Mary Ellen Bell, and her fur babies, Pickles, Baby, Riley, and Levi. Her maternal grandparents (George McCormick (Catherine)) and paternal grandfather (Ezra Bell) predeceased her.

There will be a viewing and visitation on Monday, June 6, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with services thereafter at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 South Ingraham Ave, Lakeland, FL. Condolences may be sent to the family at Heath Funeral Chapel.
