Thirty rising leaders were introduced Thursday night as members of the 34th class of Leadership Lakeland, a program of the Lakeland Area Chamber Chamber of Commerce. They represent diverse professions, including education, health, finance, banking, sales, non-profit management, law, engineering, media, entrepreneurship, construction, human relations, logistics, law enforcement and urban planning.

Leadership Lakeland is a program that identifies potential community leaders and exposes them to the inner workings of local government, law enforcement, education, health care, businesses, human services, communications and arts organizations.

Members of  the new class, introduced at a reception at Imperial Swan Hotel & Suites, are:

  • Lyle Bowlin, dean of the College of Business at Southeastern University
  • Scarlett Bowman, sales manager with Bright House Networks Business Solutions
  • James W. Brown, president of Compass Mortgage LLC
  • James J. Butler Jr., a physician with Watson Clinic
  • Michael Clanton, commercial relationship manager with CenterState Bank of Florida
  • Jason DeMeo, co-founder of We Are Curio
  • Christine Ehlenbeck, a Realtor with Keller Williams
  • Katherine Fitzwater, account executive at Curious Jane
  • Jill M. Gable, national account manager at Madden Branded Goods
  • Ashley Ann Green, executive director of Sunrise Community
  • Lance Green, assistant vice president for finance at Lakeland Regional Health
  • Elisa Turner Harden, professional engineer at Kimley-Horn and Associates
  • Michelle Maenza Hinds, marketing consultant at Hall Communications
  • Craig Stephen Hosking, COO at Maximize Digital Media
  • Michael Huff, senior project manager at A.D. Morgan Corp.
  • Dana B. Hurley, financial advisor at Allen & Company
  • Matthew David Jones, attorney at GrayRobinson
  • Silvana Knight, licensed real estate agent at EXIT Realty
  • Arthur Andres Martinez, principal at Lakeland High School
  • Frank Dee McCaulley III, director of operations at Trinity Presbyterian Church
