A small Lakeland bakery with a large social media presence just got national attention. Bake from Scratch magazine’s March/April issue features Born & Bread Bakehouse as one of five notable bakery operations that started at farmer’s markets.
“Once I spoke with Jenn, and her passion for baking was so obvious, I felt sure her story was one that would interest readers,” the article’s writer, Jennifer Kornegay, said.
Born & Bread Bakehouse expanded to a production facility at 1113A S. Florida Ave. and still retails largely through the Lakeland Downtown Farmers Market starting at 8 a.m. on Saturdays.
