Irma Combee Walker, beloved mother, granny, great-granny, aunt, cousin and friend passed away Tuesday, March 2 at her residence. She was 89 years of age. Irma was the matriarch of her family and her presence with us here will be deeply missed, but we know we will see her again in Heaven. Her love and devotion to her family was overflowing. The strength she possessed, even in her last weeks, showed how fiercely she loved her family.

Irma graduated from Kathleen High School. Her and her husband, Alvin, owned rental property and worked many years at the Lakeland Curb Market. She was also a homemaker while she raised her three children. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren enjoyed spending time with her at all of their activities.

Irma was predeceased by her husband, Alvin “Tabby” Walker; son, William Alvin “Billy” Walker and daughter, Linda Walker Bradway, her parents, two sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her son, Bobby E. (Carol) Walker; daughter-in-law, Lynne Anne Walker; granddaughters, Heather (Jesse) Torres, Leah (Keith) Sumner and grandson, Adam Walker; great-grandchildren, Kaycee, Annalyse, Billie, Kade and Maverick; sister, Dorothy Collins; sister-in-law, Mary Combee; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
