Henry J.C. Rodman, Jr. was born August 1, 1951 to Henry J.C. Rodman Sr. & Elizabeth Rhodes in Lakeland, Florida. He was a graduate of Kathleen Senior High School and a devoted church member of the Pilgrim Rest Freewill Baptist Church. He worked as a Chef for Publix Supermarkets, A.A.R.P, Faith In Action, North Lakeland.
Henry enjoyed cooking, and most of all, he enjoyed serving the Lord by singing. He was a member of Pilgrim Rest FWB Church where he served as a member of Sunday School Class #1, Hospitality Committee, Adult Choir, Male Chorus, and as an Usher. He was also a member of the Lakeland Masonic Lodge #52 and a Worshipful Master for the last 3 years.
Henry’s life was short lived but well spent, leaving to cherish memories that even death with it’s sting cannot erase.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bishop Henry J.C. Rodman, Sr., two brothers, Ronald E. Rodman, Sr. & Eric Wills, and sister, Janice Rhodes
He leaves to cherish his memory; his mothers, Elizabeth Rhodes and Hazel M. Rodman; his sisters, Wanda (Vinson) Latimore, Vivian Mobley, Mary Ann (Johnny) Boaders, Laurett Rhodes, and Trellis (Evenston) Caines an adopted daughter, Lacresha M. Rhodes; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
