Traffic may be obstructed next week on portions of Lake Hollingsworth Drive and nearby streets.
Disruptions are possible Jan. 6 through Jan. 13 as a contractor working for the city’s Wastewater Collection Division runs a robotic camera system through existing sewer mains in areas around Lake Hollingsworth and south to Glendale Street.
Potential disruptions include temporary shoulder, sidewalk and lane closures, with flaggers directing traffic, the city announced in a press release.
Workers will begin at the southern end, near Glendale Street and New Jersey Road on Jan. 6, and work progressively northward toward Lake Hollingsworth Road to Frank Lloyd Wright Way, just south of Lakeland High School.
Workers will run the robotic camera system through existing sewer pipelines to inspect them. It does not require any digging.
