Dennis “Donnell” Dixon passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021. He was 68 years old.

Donnell was born January 14, 1953 to Fannie Lamar and William Dixon. He was a certified Welder and worked in NYC where he was a lifelong member of the Iron Workers Union Local #361. He was instrumental in the construction of the New York Trade Center and several other monumental buildings in New York City.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Fannie Lamar and sister, Venita Lamar.

His love and memories will forever be cherished and continued by his wife, Tracye Dixon; daughter, Zena; sons, Qasseem ,Tyrese, and stepson, Marquis Owens; siblings, Barbara Lamar, Willie Lamar, Freddie Lamar, Sheila Lamar, Robert Lamar, Joseph Lamar, Sally Lamar; Brother-in-law, Merrill Owens; sister-in-law, Rosalind Spaulding; 13 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery (4620 Hwy. 98 South Lakeland, FL 33810) from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 4th. A funeral service will immediately follow. Condolences may be sent to the family at Oldham Funeral Home.
