Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Marks 35 Years in Lakeland with the Pouncey Twins on Aug. 29

Don Bosko opened the first Beef ‘O’ Brady’s in Lakeland 35 years ago this August.

Billed as a ‘family sports pub,’ the restaurant is celebrating the anniversary with food specials, giveaways, and community events at the 4515 S. Florida Ave. location, including a meet and greet with former Lakeland High School, University of Florida, and NFL stars the Pouncey twins from 4 to 6 p.m on Saturday, Aug. 29. 

Bosko, a Lakeland resident, was the first to open a Beef ‘O’ Brady’s franchise, owning 11 at one point. Now, semi-retired, he owns two: the locations on the north and south side of Lakeland. He is a co-owner of the Bartow location.
